Who Am I?

Greetings! My name is Pam and you hopefully today you can count yourself very lucky as this is the day you stumbled upon my blog.

Myself? I am just another soul making my way in the world. I have a wonderful husband who encourages me to explore my every random whim and four animals (two dogs, two cats) who are good sports about being the subject of many of my adventures. I am the kind of girl who likes to stay constantly busy and learn new things. There is something so gratifying about creating things from scratch. Whether that is a blanket, a card, a beautiful meal or a great picture the feeling you get when you are done is nothing short of satisfaction. I love taking a moment at the end of the day and saying “I did that!”, knowing I have left a small mark on the world.

I work full-time in the IT field which is an adventure all of its own. For five years I traveled the world for work, often not knowing where I would be in two days time. This certainly made crafting more difficult and I picked up crochet as a take-it-with-you hobby. It filled my endless hours on planes and sitting around in hotel rooms. Recently, I switched to a job that keeps me home except for the time I spend in the office. I still love my crochet but I am branching back out and trying some newer things that don’t have to be travel friendly.

This blog is a random collection of thoughts and projects that I try my hand at. I like trying new things and never seem to keep the same interests for long so if you are following me be prepared for an onslaught of variety from week to week. At the same time, this means that if you have ideas of something new for me to try please do share! I am a notoriously sporadic blogger but if you stick around hopefully you will find a few gems that make it worthwhile.
